It’s gooey, but not melty; it’s chewy, but not soft; it has salted caramel laced throughout, but not on top, so it’s not sticky; the chocolate content is perfection. The salt in the caramel balances out the sweetness of the chocolate.
This is our perfect chocolate chip cookie.
#2 Maman’s Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookie:
An absolutely delicious version that incorporates macadamia nuts, almonds, walnuts, & dark chocolate. It’s sweeter on the palate than Daily Provisions’ Chunk Cookie, but that’s balanced by the nut oils that round out the entire flavor.
#3 Orwasher’s Chocolate Chip Cookie:
Crispier, butterier and doughier than the rest, but not too crispy, buttery or doughy - it’s such a toasty treat in every single bite. Highly recommend with coffee; a great dipper.
#4 Levain Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie OR the Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie:
They have not one but two fantastic cookies to choose from but our person feeling is that they are best for sharing (they’re huge), and need milk or coffee as a side (they’re extremely rich). The host perfect gift, everyone will get excited when you show up with these babies.
#5 Insomnia Cookies Chocolate Chunk Cookie:
Eat 1, eat 20. This old classic will satisfy any ate and any palate. Highly recommend for a friend sleepover, late-night craving, or drowning one’s sorrows. Heat it up in the microwave at home or get it hot in the shop - so yummy.
